FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) 

1)    What is the Seven Wonder Vacation Hotel Units?
         Seven Wonder Vacation Hotel Luxury Units are Seven Separate Mediterranean Vacation Style Homes (Bldgs.) each with three floors of luxurious amenties with a roof top deck that encompasses outside kitchen facilities and an outside living room.  There are (2) Two Bedroom Vacation Villas each with 1358 Square Footage with royal amenities in each building. Total Square Footage of the Mediterranean Building is 3092 Square Foot on a quarter acre with scenic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, and British Virgin Islands.
2)     What is our Mission?
         Mission is to provide High Royal Amenities and Services to all of our Vacation Hotel Patrons.  We will go all out to satisfy all of our clients' needs.
3)      Location of Vacation Hotel Units?
          St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands at Little Plantation on Coral Bay.
4)      When will the Mediterranean Vacation Luxury Units be Available for Rental and Occupancy?         
           Availability for rental reservations anytime, and January 2014 for Occupancy.
5)      What are the type of rental services that will be offered to vacationers?
           Vacation rental by Hotel Rates will be available and offered to vacationers!
6)       Peak Seasons Dates and Non Peak Seasons Dates?
           Peak Season Dates October thru March!  Non Peak Season Dates April thru September!
7)       Reservations?

8)  Rules and Regulations of the Vacation Luxury Rentals?
Security Deposit will be based on the percentage of the rental rates and will be automatically held on Credit Card once you are checked in and will be released once the property has been inspected for any damages!
Check Ins will be before 4:00 PM and Check Outs will be before 10:00 AM the Following Day!
Noise Ordinance will be in effect.

Reservations may be placed up to two (2) years in advance, but are subject to the rates in effect for that year.

Most private beach homes and condominiums are rented on a "weekly only" basis during the summer season, unless otherwise specified. Some require only a 3 night minimum and others require a 5 night minimum plus a cleaning fee. There is a three (3) night minimum on rentals during all other seasons.  Any reservation for less than three (3) nights will require the addition of the cleaning fee to the rental rate.

We are happy to announce that we may partner with CSA Travel Protection to provide VACATION RENTER INSURANCE for our guests. 

*We are still in the Process of working out the Specifics with this company and will finalize our business proposal with them in a couple of weeks by January, 2013! 

Your purchase of this insurance may be - at 6.5% of the rental rate plus taxes and the reservation processing fee - will provide you with the peace of mind and the ultimate protection of your deposit should you have to cancel your reservation.

** PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS INSURANCE WILL BE NON-REFUNDABLE 10 DAYS AFTER YOU HAVE PAID YOUR FIRST DEPOSIT**.  

Advance rent deposit is required within ten (10) days of placing your initial reservation. 
The rent deposit is equal to 50% of the total rental fee (excluding sales tax and security/damage deposit) plus a non-refundable processing fee of $250.00.  The charge for Vacation Renter Insurance - 6.5% of the rental rate - is also due at the time of paying the advance rent deposit. 
RENTAL BALANCE, INCLUDING SALES TAX, IS DUE 30 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL.  Payment may be made by cash, traveler's check, bank money order, cashier's check, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover).  Personal and/or Business checks will be accepted if received at least 30 days prior to your arrival.
Your security/damage deposit will be processed upon your arrival and can be secured against your credit card.  

Security / Damage Deposit is based on the rental rate of each property and is equal to 20% of the summer weekly rental fee. Your security/damage deposit will be secured against your credit card account as an authorization and will automatically drop off provided all rules and regulations were observed. DO NOT USE YOUR BANK DEBIT CARD FROM YOUR BANKING ACCOUNT, AS THESE TRANSACTIONS WILL DEBIT THE AMOUNT FROM YOUR CHECKING OR SAVINGS BALANCE.

Should there be any problem, our office will contact you via certified mail of the situation.

Rules and Regulations: 
1.    Unit is to be left in a neat and tidy condition with no damage to the unit or its contents beyond normal wear and tear.
2.        All dishes are to be washed and all garbage removed from the premises and placed in outside receptacles.
3.        The maximum number of guests does not exceed the number allowed. This includes all children except infants in a crib.
4.        Furnishings are not to be removed from the property for use outside or in other properties.
5.        Most units require the “No Pet” policy to be observed. Pets are NOT allowed in the unit or on the premises unless it is pre-approved by management. Non observance of this policy WILL result in immediate forfeiture of you security / damage deposit. (Pre-approval to bring a pet also requires the payment of a “Pet Fee”.)
6.        SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED.  Guests may smoke outside of the unit, but they are responsible for cleaning up and removal of cigarette butts, ashtrays, etc.
7.        Reservations are not made by or for a minor - anyone under 25 years of age. An underage guest without a chaperone staying at the rental unit which has been rented through Beach Rentals of South Walton will automatically be forced to leave and will forfeit the remaining balance of rent and the security / damage deposit. Chaperones MUST BE THE PERSON OR PERSONS CHECKING INTO - AND STAYING FOR THE WHOLE LENGTH OF THE RESERVATION - THE UNIT PRIOR TO KEYS BEING RELEASED TO ANYONE.
8.        All keys are to be returned to the office upon your departure. There will be a $125.00 charge per key not returned and a $150.00 charge per key card not returned.
9.        All remaining balances have been paid.
10.     If you arrive after-hours, you are REQUIRED to contact our office the following day to sign a registration check-in card and secure your security/damage deposit. These items are necessary and must be signed the next day after your late arrival.  
Cancellations - Reservation deposits will be processed through CSA Travel Protection for any guests who have purchased the Vacation Rental Insurance and have to cancel due to illness or injury, accident, hurricanes, change in military orders, loss of employment. 
Reservations cannot be moved to a different date or different location – this constitutes a cancellation! Hurricane Policy - IN THE EVERNT OF A “NAMED” HURRICANE targeted for our area and upon instructions from our local Emergency Management Office in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, you will be advised not to come on the date of your scheduled arrival and whether or not to come a little later for the remainder of your reservation. If you are already here, you will be advised to leave if a mandatory evacuation order is issued.
We do not expect our guests to arrive for their stay or to remain until the end of their scheduled visit during an active hurricane. Full and/or partial refunds will be processed through CSA Travel Protection for all guests who purchased the Vacation Rental Insurance.  

Check-in time begins at 4 p.m. and every effort will be made to have your unit ready on time. We appreciate your patience should the completion of your unit be unavoidably delayed. If you arrive in the area early, please check with our office to see if your unit is ready for occupancy.
If you anticipate checking-in after 5 p.m., please notify our office in advance to arrange for after hours check-in. Your security/damage deposit, due upon check-in, MUST be paid the following day if you are a late arrival, and ALL GUESTS ARE REQUIRED TO SIGN A GUEST REGISTRATION CARD. 
Check-out time is promptly at 10 a.m. so that we may prepare for our next arrival.
This includes all persons, vehicles, and luggage. We appreciate your reporting all maintenance items and we will respond to them as soon as possible. 
Linens/Towels/Supplies - Although linens are furnished, please bring your own beach towels and beach blankets as linens are not to be removed from the unit.
Any lost or damaged linens will be deducted from your security deposit. An initial supply of paper products, trash liners, bathroom tissue and facial soap is provided.
Extra items needed are the responsibility of the guest.
Cleaning supplies are not provided. Parking is limited at some properties.
Please respect the rights of others and park only in your designated areas. Some properties allow only one (1) vehicles –-no boats, jet skis, trailers or RVs.
Please check with us ahead of time if you plan to bring more than the allowed number of vehicles. 
Telephones provided in all units have long distance call blocks. All long distance charges must be charged to a credit calling card, collect or third party. Computer and internet access - Some of our properties have hi-speed internet access.
Please inquire when placing your reservation if this is a priority item for you. Please be aware there is no local connection to AOL if you have to connect through dial-up access. 
Each time you dial to connect, there is a $1.50 charge.
If you remain logged onto AOL longer than 60 minutes, the charges will begin processing as per minute long distance charges. You will be responsible for any telephone charges as a result of your use.  
Please contact our office for information regarding local internet service providers to avoid possible excessive telephone charges. 

       

Agent will not be held responsible for acts of theft or vandalism or other damages to the gues'’s personal property or items left in the unit.  
Every effort will be made to return any items, but we assume no responsibility for such items.  Seven Wonder Vacation Luxury Units have the right to change rental assignments under emergency conditions. 
Properties are occasionally removed from our rental program on short notice due to change in ownership or other changes made by the owner.  Should this occur to the confirmed reservation, every effort will be made to contact you by telephone or mail to inform you of the need to change your reservation to another suitable accommodation. Please be assured you will either be moved to a comparable property or upgraded, at Seven Wonder Vacation Hotel discretion depending on property availability.  
If this situation occurs, you will be notified immediately, time permitting.
